THE STATISTICAL INDICATOR

Due to the increased number of statistical data  users, CDSI has decided  to publish a  summary statistical bulletin, namely, the Statistical Indicator, which is easy to handle and can be distributed on a wide scale.
The first issue of the Statistical Indicator was published in 1396 A.H, (1976 A.D). It included 10 chapters: physical features, employment in private sector, agriculture, petroleum & industry, trade & finance, transport & communication, education, health services, social services & pilgrimage, and population.
With the continuation of updating and developing the Statistical Indicator, the CDSI has modified the chapters of education, health and agriculture in the issue no. 31 and the issue no. 32 of the Statistical Indicator consisted of 12 chapters by adding two new chapters: energy & water and labor market until the latest issue no. 33 was published.
CDSI welcomes any constructive comments that would be helpful in developing this publication and improving its quality.
